The Vision of All Saints is to provide a welcoming, supportive, inclusive and safe space for those in the Port Stephens community who are experiencing disadvantage and needing assistance.
Hope Cottage began with the “Just One Thing” initiative where every Church member was encouraged to bring just one item of food or toiletry to replenish the pantry for those in need.
This project has been run by All Saints and our local community since 1987. Our service has grown rapidly since the beginning of 2019 and now local businesses, people within the community, and organised groups regularly contribute and partner with us in caring for the wider community.
Hope Cottage is our vehicle to give out this crisis food in a welcoming and accepting way. It is available to anyone who is experiencing hardship, and to access without judgement, free groceries, personal care items and emergency packs.
