Our Pastors are able to perform weddings in any location.  We will work with you to create a personalised, beautiful and memorable ceremony, providing you with flexibility and freedom, whilst guiding and accommodating your personal wishes.

When someone you love dies, nothing can take away the pain you feel. We understand that losing someone close to you is very distressing. It may be difficult to make decisions or to know what to do, especially if the death is sudden and unexpected. In addition to the emotional strain, you may need to take care of practical matters such as organising the funeral service. We are here to help you through one of life’s most difficult times. Every year, on Advent Sunday, we hold a special service for those who have lost loved ones. You will receive an invitation a few weeks beforehand.  During this simple and moving service, the names of loved ones are read out, and there is an opportunity to light a candle and say prayers in their memory.

We have a compassionate team of volunteers who visit patients in the local Nursing and Residential Homes and in the hospitals in and around Newcastle providing encouragement and support to the sick and aged in our community.  Each visit is a wonderful time to share in their lives and to take time to pray for them.

A trained team are available to bring Communion to those who are unable be present in Church due to sickness or immobility. Those wishing to have a Communion visit at home can contact the Pastoral Care Team at the Church on (02) 4981 1839 or by emailing info@allsaintsnelsonbay.org
